In 1987, Rob Coleman graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the classical film animation program at Concordia University in Montreal,

Quebec, Canada, where he studied under the world renowned Yugoslavian animator Zlatko Grgic. He began his career working on Captain Power, the first

television series to combine computer animated characters and live action. He joined Industrial Light & Magic's team of animators in 1993 to work on the film

The Mask. He recently directed the animation for Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.
